Justin Long: Jailbroken iPhone & Funny Texts

, Wed, Aug 18, 2010

Justin LongYou may have already read about this on Mashable or Engadget, but I felt that this story was too funny and too interesting not to report.

Hollywood film and television actor Justin Long, who you may know from films such as Accepted, Dodgeball or Apple’s Mac advert.

During Long’s interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he pulled out his iPhone which was displayed on a large monitor in which is usually for trailers. What Long had on display was a very long exchange of SMS messages between himself and a girl who believed he was someone else, very funny! Check out the video below.

However that wasn’t the main reason for reporting, as you will notice from the image on the left and the video below is that Long’s phone display isn’t the standard Apple iOS4 design, infact it’s been jailbroken as you can also tell by the Cydia icon on his homepage.

Cameron started blogging early 2010, late to the tech scene as that maybe he's made a big impact already having been invited to BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1's Breakfast to discuss technology and the big gadgets of 2010. Not only is Cameron a blogger/writer he also has a radio show on Sine FM in Doncaster. Cameron loves music, radio and technology.

Even more so, he’s not running iOS4 because of the dock!
