Apple’s largest retail store opened it’s doors to the public this morning when the clock struck 10AM. The Apple store located in Convent Garden, London had people queuing from yesterday morning.
It was announced on Thursday that Apple would be giving away t-shirts to the first 4000 people, immediately emphasising the popularity of the opening. Apple formed two queues after around the 300th person arrived. The lines: one for those purchasing an iPhone and the other for those browsing the store. The guarantee for this Apple retail store is that never will a shortage of Apple products be a possibility.
Apple being who they are really pulled off the opening, many celebrities have been reported to have been attendance or attending throughout the day including members of the Harry Potter cast and many other comedians and popular television presenters. For some, the saviour of the morning was the offering of free umbrellas, rain was a problem up until opening. See below for photos.
Our very own Keith Moon attended the grand opening and happened to have a camera handy.
