It’s Official: Alexis Ohanian has Joined YCombinator

, Wed, Sep 1, 2010

Alexis OhanianIt’s been announced by YCombinator’s Harjeet Taggar, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian has now joined YCombinator. TechCrunch earlier reported that Ohanian’s role will take place in New York and that he will represent YCombinator in the East and meet with those applying from the East coast.

Finally, it’s clear to say that Ohanian will not be moving on to any other startups unlike co-founder Steve Huffman who moved on to Hipmunk. Since his retirment at Reddit he’s been working on a side project of his, Breapig.

Ohanian, in the past has been the centre of attention for many reasons, let’s see how long until the fairly young, ambitious entrepreneur makes yet another mark in the tech/startup world.

I was about to try Hipmunk, when my friend pointed out that Kayak is superior in so many ways. Hipmunk doesn’t even have any of the helpful features that Kayak does.

I made sure to save my friends from using the disaster that is Hipmunk!
