If you are tired of good old Apple rumors and long to hear some news from the Android camp, we have a pretty sweet one for you. It seems like the list of sweets is never-ending in the Google OS labs. Don’t worry if you had too much Ice Cream Sandwich this year, your menu might become diversified soon.
The latest handful of rumors seem to point that the next Android release, entitled Jelly Bean will be officially released in the second quarter of this very year. The first who reported the news was DigiTimes who has been known to be a pretty reliable source of information so far. According to them, Jelly Bean will better integrated into tablets and notebooks.
Another extra yummy feat will be the presence of Chrome system which will be accessible to users in such a way that they will be able to dual-boot from a Windows 8 device. How neat! What this means is that brand vendors will have the opportunity to select only Google Android 5.0. or superimpose Jelly Bean upon their Windows 8 devices, thus being able to switch between the two with ease. The dual-booting feat might make it easier for Jelly Bean to infiltrate the ranks of computer makers.
Google is still aiming at conquering the notebook market and has been trying a lot of different strategies. Jelly Bean might be one of them, but the company should ponder on the fact that the Ice Cream Sandwich adoption is not going so smooth, so far.
