With Google, every new day requires some new innovation to feel complete. So, here we have today’s new addition: apparently, Google’s search home page was just served with an extra button – the Google+ Share one. This new adjustment might be a little confusing to some users. Where does the search giant draw the line between Google+ and Google?
The answer seems to be evading us at the moment. And already some people are finding flaws in this process. Like Search Engine Land’s Danny Sulivan who reportedly finds it intrusive. Why would anyone want to access Google home page to share content on Google+, he asks? It doesn’t make sense, if one wants to do that; they should just head on to Google+.
This aspect doesn’t bother non Google+ users. If you don’t have an account, you’re simply spared. So go on, quickly delete your Google+ accounts. Just kidding! When you click on the feature, you’ll notice that you are allowed to integrate photos, videos, links and even a location. It then lets you select the people or circles you want to share the information with. Apparently if you want to share info from Google Maps, Google News or some other sites, you will have to copy/paste the URLs. Not very helpful is it?
Google’s faith in its social network seems to be undying, even if the prospects haven’t been entirely in its favor, but still, the search giant seems to be pumping more Google+ feature everywhere is allowed or not. But how much will become too much?!
