GameStop To Start Selling 3 Android Tablets

GameStop has previously mentioned that it will be releasing gaming tablets next year, but for now it looks like it will be in the business of selling regular Android tablets at some of its stores.

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the tablets went on sale last week in 200 stores across the U.S. The tablets are being manufactured by Asustek, Acer and Samsung, and will come pre-installed with seven free games including Dead Space and Madden NFL.

“Costumers have been telling us that they like to game on multiple devices”, GameStop’s CEO J. Paul Raines told the Journal. “We believe there is a gaming opportunity on tablets”.

The tablets you’ll be able to buy from GameStop are: the Acer Iconia Tab A100, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The tablets cost about the same as you would find them elsewhere, w
