Yesterday Facebook made creating events just that little bit easier. It is now possible to create an event directly from your home page. Before this update creating an event for something small such as going to the cinema wasn’t worth the effort however Facebook have now made the process a whole lot easier.
As the Facebook blog explains so simply, ‘Just start typing your event into the “What are you planning?” field on the right-hand column of your home page. A form will open. Add a time and place, and you’ll be ready to share your plans with your friends.’
