Kings James (@KingJames) – who is currently a free agent in the NBA has surprised the world by firstly registering for a Twitter account and the biggest news, receiving 240,000 followers and more in less than 24 hours.
The statistics already show that he’s already estimated to beat Bill Gates in followers who took eight hours to reach the 100k mark – James reached 150k in seven hours.
It’s believed the main reason for James to have registered to Twitter was to announce the team he’ll be signing for, rather than the traditional ways such as press releases or transfers being leaked to the press. Even though this is at this stage speculation, it has been knocked down by his publicist who claims that will not happen.
Whilst this post went to publish the account has grown 1,000 followers.
