BBC today announced a new feature to the current BBC iPlayer. Users of iPlayer can now consume content from other on-demand providers and broadcasters. Starting today you can now view content from ITV, Channel 4, S4C, Five, SeeSaw.com and new partner MSN VIdeo Player, this can all be accessed under one roof, well website, the BBC iPlayer one.
It’s made clear the process in which is used, it’s pretty simple the BBC grab data from other broadcasters official or on-demand websites, obviously with permission – though who wouldn’t want the BBC publishing your content with the amount of users it gets daily?
