Yes, you read that right – there are indeed pre-orders for the iPad 2 available in the UK – but not from Apple’s online store. Some of Apple’s Premium Resellers, notably KRCS in the UK, are currently accepting in-store orders, which will guarantee you an iPad 2 to collect on launch day (25th March), however the supply is very much limited compared to the stock Apple Stores will have, but for those who want to keep it local and don’t want to queue up for hours at an Apple Store, why not head down to a KRCS store and find out if you can grab a pre-order before it’s too late!
UPDATE: KRCS are accepting the names of people who would like to come and see and maybe buy an iPad 2 on launch day, and KRCS will be contacting everyone who joins this list in the early hours of launch day to update them on product availability.
To reiterate… KRCS are not accepting pre-orders.
